As a passionate international adventurer, Hellen’s first taste of travel began when she received her atlas at the age of 7. Night after night, she would lay across the atlas and say that she was going to travel the entire world! And travel, she did. At the age of 15, after a volunteer experience to Guatemala, and a family vacation to Spain, the world truly became her oyster. Finding retreat and renewal through travel, in college, Hellen studied fine art and Spanish in Oaxaca, Mexico and London, England. Afterwards, she began working in humanitarian travel, advocating for children’s educational rights, where she pioneered and led groups to remote areas of India, Australia, and Africa.

Hellen holds a BA in Fine Art from Auburn University. She worked alongside the Vanderbilt University Alumni Travel Program, engaging alumni in educational travel. She also spearheaded an alumni division for a prestigious boutique travel company. Hellen’s academic and professional background merged her work in travel advisement and cultural consulting. She has experience in 40+ countries across North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Africa. Furthermore, she has lived her adult life throughout 4 countries on 3 different continents. Hellen’s desire to inspire others to travel led her to found her own travel company, curating travel spaces for women to retreat, reflect, and renew.
